The Vice Click 50K and the Fog Formulas Pro X 50K are the two disposables that offer the best value of all those that we carry, and in theory they are very similar devices since both provide 50,000 rated puffs, contain 22 mL of e-liquid in a two-stage system, have dual power modes, allow the airflow to be adjusted, come with USB-C charging and have a nicotine concentration of 20 mg/mL. The price difference between them is only $2. The actual differences that matter are in the way each device delivers its second stage of e-liquid and in the way the nicotine is formulated.

The Short Answer

If you’d like a more intense throat hit, want to use the stealth mode, or are looking for the slightly better price, then get the Fog Pro X 50K, because its Intense mix uses both salt and freebase nicotine and this results in a stronger effect than standard salt nicotine at the same strength.
If you prefer to have a sealed cartridge that you attach yourself, or if you’re already familiar with Vice’s range of flavours and want to stick with them, get the Vice Click 50K.
The Fog Pro X offers better value per puff, at around $0.72 per 1,000 puffs compared to $0.76 for the Vice Click.

The Cartridge Difference

This is the one clear difference between the two, which is also why the Vice is known as the Click. Although both devices come with 2 mL ready to vape and have an additional 20 mL held separately, the Vice Click asks you to physically click the 20 mL cartridge into position once the first chamber is empty. In contrast, the Fog Pro X draws continuously from its reservoir; there is nothing to attach and nothing to keep an eye on.

It depends on your requirements of the device. The Vice method keeps most of the e-liquid sealed until you need it, and as a result some people like the idea of knowing exactly when they enter the second stage. With the Fog method, there is simply less to consider. In neither case is there a flaw; they just represent different design philosophies regarding the same issue.

The Nicotine Difference

Both have a concentration of 20 mg/mL, which is the maximum allowed by the Canadian federal government, although they achieve this level in different ways. Fog Formulas’ Intense formula combines nicotine salt with freebase nicotine and as a result gives a much more noticeable throat hit than a pure nicotine-salt device at the same concentration. For a person who has been using cigarettes and finds standard salt nicotine too smooth, this is important. The Vice Click, on the other hand, uses conventional salt nicotine at 20 mg/mL, which provides a smoother experience and is more suitable for long sessions.

If the other 20 mg devices have seemed unsatisfactory in terms of throat hit, then the Fog is the one you should try. And if a strong throat hit proves to be harsh, the Vice is the better choice.

Value: Both Are Exceptional

At $0.72 and $0.76 per 1,000 puffs respectively, these two models offer the best value among all the disposable devices we have. They outperform any Flavour Beast or Allo device and are much better than any compact disposable, since in the case of those the cost per 1,000 puffs reaches double figures. When you are looking to minimise cost per puff, then these two devices are the solution and the difference in price of $2 is almost negligible.

To find out how they stack up against all the other brands we offer, refer to our guide on the best disposable vapes in Canada or the 50K puff disposables guide for more information about the higher-capacity range.

FAQs

Which lasts longer, the Vice Click or the Fog Pro X?
Since both of them are rated at 50,000 puffs and have a capacity of 22 mL, their actual runtime is essentially identical. The real outcome will depend much more on the length of the draw and on whether you use Boost mode than on the model you choose.

What does “Intense” mean on the Fog Pro X?
The nicotine formula is provided by Fog Formulas and consists of a mixture of salt and freebase nicotine at a concentration of 20 mg/mL. It produces a more intense throat hit than ordinary salt nicotine at the same concentration, without going beyond Canada’s federal limit.

Do I have to do anything when the Vice Click’s first chamber runs out?
Yes. After the preloaded 2 mL has been used up, you insert the 20 mL cartridge into the device. The Fog Pro X does not need this step, since its reservoir feeds continuously.

Is the Vice Box 2 available at Big Cloud?
No. We carry the Vice Click 50K, the Vice 2500, and the Vice Mini 1000. Although the Vice Box 2 is available at certain other Canadian retailers, it is not included in our range.
